Womens Swimwear

Womens swimwear covers a broad range of styles from full coverage one-piece swimsuits to teeny bikinis.  Finding your spot within such a wide spectrum can be difficult unless you ask yourself the right questions.  Before you buy the wrong swimsuit and end up shoving it in the back of a drawer, take the time to consider the following things.

When looking through countless styles of womens swimwear, the first thing you need to consider is what kind of support you need from the swimsuit.  If you are top heavy, having enough support will make all the difference in your figure.  You can accomplish this one of two ways – buy a one piece swimsuit or bikini top that has underwire in it, or you can buy a bikini top with decent coverage and adjustable straps.  The adjustable straps allow you to tie the top to your own comfort level.  If you go with underwires, make sure the bikini top or swimsuit is appropriately sized.  A quality piece with underwires will be sized much like a bra to allow for a perfect fit.

If you are bottom heavy, you have other considerations when buying womens swimwear.  Coverage is definitely the most important thing to decide.  With swimwear ranging from full coverage one-piece swimsuits with skirts and to thong bikini bottoms, deciding how much you want to show should be your first order of business.  A thong is the most revealing option, with a Brazilian cut being a nice middle-of-the-road option.  Full coverage bottoms such as boy shorts and bikini skirts can be played up to feel flirty just like some of the smaller cuts.  Even full coverage bikini bottoms can be just as sexy as long as you buy the right cut and size.  The trick is to make sure the fabric fits you snugly without digging into your skin.

Picking out the right womens swimwear can be a daunting task, but if you take the time up front to buy the right swimsuit, you will be much happier in the end.
